The Allergen Awareness E-Learning Course
All food handlers are legally required to ensure that the food they serve, sell, manufacture or handle in any way is safe for human consumption. This is especially true when it comes to providing food products to people who suffer from food allergies or have a food intolerance. This allergen awareness e-learning course provides delegates with an understanding food allergens and food labelling, in line with the new legislation. Topics include the 14 allergens, allergenic reactions, food labelling, hygiene precautions and first aid.
Assessment and certification
All delegates will be assessed through a multiple choice exam consisting of 30 questions. Upon successful completion all delegates will achieve a nationally recognised certification.
