Hi there, it’s me – Trev.

Shall we talk audits? I know, I know, maybe this isn’t your favourite subject….but bear with me.

So many businesses these days require audits from hospitals to warehouses, food businesses to the pharmaceutical industry. They can help enhance your reputation, demonstrate due diligence, reduce the risk of enforcement action and avoid the bad publicity and reputational damage that comes with poor ratings.

At the ELAS Group we set the standards that other companies audit to, so it should come as no surprise that our auditor training courses are also second to none.

Our Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing and Inspection Skills is aimed at supervisors, team leaders, quality assurance staff and managers from a wider variety of industries where verification, auditing (including internal and supplier auditing) or inspection is undertaken. It is also suitable for trainee environmental health officers.

This one day course will give delegates all the knowledge they need relating to the role of the auditor and how to carry out effective audits or inspections. This includes the purpose of audits/inspections, the benefits and limitations of audits/inspections, the auditing/inspection cycle, checklists, data gathering, analysis and interpretation of data, and report writing.

There are no prerequisites for this qualification. However, it is recommended that candidates have suitable technical knowledge of the relevant practices and procedures which will be subject to audit/inspection.

We have two training courses coming up, one in London on Tuesday 17th April and another right here in Manchester on Monday 14th May. Spaces are booking up quickly so you’ll have to move fast.

To book your place, or find out more information, get in touch with me in the usual way….email me at trainer.trev@elas.uk.com or give me a ring on 08450 50 40 60. As always, if these dates don’t suit you then we will be happy to arrange another course at a time or location that will.
